36 Days of Typography is a new edition of the original 36 Days of Type. The challenge pushes designers to create an entire Latin alphabet font in just 36 days.

36 Days of Typography begins on April 1st every year. It’s no April Fool’s joke though! We start with letter A and go all the way through Z, then numbers 0 through 9. There’s also a bonus 37th day to create and share an ampersand and join the Ampersand Club.

You can simply tag us on Instagram or submit your work on our website here to be featured on our main grid! Our goal is to share directly from our account because YOU are the artist. We don’t monetize any posts with other artists’ work.

The Ampersand Club is for those who submit a 37th glyph—an ampersand! It’s also the name of our newsletter and exclusive club for annual members of the challenge.
